Mambo Shuleni is operated by me, Clare Kutoyi, a licensed school counsellor based in Kisumu, Kenya. My website address is mamboshuleni.com. I'm committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2019 (Kenya).
What data I collect:
I collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and any message you send through my contact or Q&A forms. I also collect basic analytics data through Google Analytics, including pages visited and time spent on the site, to help me improve your experience.
How I use your data:
I solely use your data to respond to your enquiries, deliver services you request, and send my newsletter, Heh Sijakuambia, if you have subscribed. I do not sell, share, or disclose your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
Confidentiality in counselling:
All information shared in counselling sessions is strictly confidential. The only exceptions are where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or a safeguarding concern involving a child — in which case I am legally and ethically obligated to act. This will always be explained clearly before any session begins.

Your rights under the DPA 2019:

Newsletter:
If you subscribe to Heh Sijakuambia, your email address is stored securely with MailerLite. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter email.
Third party services:
This site uses Google Analytics for website analytics, MailerLite for newsletter delivery, Gumroad for digital product sales, and Google Forms for anonymous question submissions. Each has its own privacy policy.
