Concerns you may have before reaching out
Yes, everything discussed during the discovery call is completely confidential. It's a safe, no-pressure conversation to help us figure out if we're the right fit for each other. Nothing you share will go beyond that call.
We use Google Meet or Zoom, whichever works best for you. Both platforms use end-to-end encryption to keep your conversations private and secure. All sessions are handled in compliance with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, ensuring your personal information is protected at all times.
Payment is via M-Pesa or bank transfer. Details are shared after we confirm your booking. Payment is due before the session begins.
Please give at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel at no charge. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged at 50% of the session fee.
Absolutely. My workshops are designed to stand alone or complement existing programs. Get in touch and we'll design something that fits your school's specific needs.
Yes. If you're under 18, written consent from a parent or guardian is required before we can begin any sessions. This is both a legal requirement and an ethical standard I uphold. If you're a student looking for support, please share this page with a trusted parent or guardian who can reach out to me on your behalf.
When working with schools, I provide a clear, parent-friendly communication that explains who I am, my credentials, what I'll be doing with students, and how their children's privacy and wellbeing will be protected. You can share this directly with parents via your school newsletter, WhatsApp group, or notice board. Transparency with parents is something I take seriously — an informed parent community paves way for a smoother, more effective program.
This is one of the most common concerns parents have, and it's a completely valid one. The short answer is no, counselling does not make things worse. What it does is create a safe, structured space for your child to process what they're already feeling. Those feelings exist whether or not your child is in counselling. The difference is that in counselling they have a trained professional helping them navigate those feelings rather than carrying them alone. It's also worth knowing that I work at your child's pace; nothing is forced, nothing is rushed, and you are kept informed every step of the way within the boundaries of confidentiality.
You've made it this far, you're gonna be okay 🙂
Send me an email and let's figure out together what kind of support would be best for you. The first 15 minutes are on me.
